Mr. Harper was a veteran of the United States Army. He graduated from the University of Wisconsin, and worked for Brunswick, retiring after many years of service. In his spare time, he enjoyed working outside, camping, and spending time with his loved ones.
Surviving are his wife of 46 years, Edna Daphane (Scobey); daughter Kim (Victor) Heikkila; 2 grandchildren, Dylan Ernest Heikkila and Onna Phane Heikkila; step daughter Carla Yvonne Foley-Trumble; step granddaughter Kirsten Foley-Montgomery; brother Edwin (Shirley) Harper; 3 sons, Rick, Mike, and Mark; and many extended family and friends.
Sadly, Mr. Harper's beloved wife Edna passed away 3 weeks after him on October 3, 2019.
There will be a joined memorial service for both Mom & Dad (with Military Honors) on Wednesday, October 9, 2019 at 3:30 at the Connection Point Church, 2270 S. Mill Iron Rd. Muskegon.
