Zena Huddleston

Zena Nicole Huddleston, age 23, passed away on February 7, 2015. She was born in North Platte, Nebraska on December 27, 1991. Zena was a quiet, well behaved baby who was always happy. Growing up with two guys made her strong and outspoken (unless she was covering for her brother). At a young age Zena gave birth to her son, Alex, whom she loved unconditionally. She soon found the trials and tribulations of motherhood, but made it through and matured into a beautiful young woman. Many of her friends have stated, and no doubt that it’s true, that Zena loved her daddy more than anything. Zena was intoxicatingly funny, and the happiness she had as a baby followed her throughout her life. Anyone who was lucky enough to feel the embrace of one of her running hugs can tell you just what happiness feels like. From all those who Zena loved so deeply, she will be greatly missed. Zena will be lovingly remembered by her son, Alexander Scott Huddleston, age 6; father, Scott M. Huddleston; brother and best friend, Zak Huddleston; uncle, Garry (Nancy) Workman; aunt, Pam (Mark) Burd; nephews: Zadyn, Zoie, Meryck; the VanWeeldan family; mother, Pennie Reynolds; the Harris family; an amazing group of friends. She was preceded in death by her grandmother, LaDonne Huddleston. A memorial service will be held at 12pm on Saturday, February 14, 2015 at Ever Rest Funeral Home & Chapel (1783 E. Keating Ave., Muskegon). The family will receive visitors one hour prior to the service, beginning at 11am. Immediately following the service, a going away party and benefit will be held at Skeetown Tavern (1308 W. Sherman Blvd., Muskegon).
