Barbara passed away on August 15th (her 94th birthday) surrounded by family.
She was born in Rife, Alberta on August 15th, 1931. She is predeceased by her husband Kenneth, of 72 years in 2018. She also is predeceased by her son Neil, daughters Elizabeth, Karen, Joan & granddaughters Christina and Allison.
She is survived by son, Gordon (Carol), daughters, Barbara, Carol & Deborah (Ron).
Grandchildren Carol-Lynn, Tina, Nicole, Michael, Ronald, Kallum, Trevor, Brooke, Troy, Deena, Kallie, Kenneth, Gellana & Danysha and 17 great-grandchildren.
Barbara loved her family, sewing, crafting, gardening, dancing and volunteering.
She volunteered at COPS, Old Time Fiddlers, Lighthouse Floor Curling, Government Retires’ and numerous others.
They loved to host gatherings & reunions at their property at Horne Lake where they created a beautiful acreage.
She will be greatly missed.
