Beloved husband of Donalda for 58 years; dear Dad Jo-Anne, Ron (Cindy) and Dave (Corrie); and loving Grampa to Desirée, Jasmine, Benjamin and Sarah. He is survived by his sister Claudette and his brother Léopold (Geraldine). He was predeceased by his parents Leopold and Alexandrine Lapointe; his sisters Irene, Isobelle, Denise, Leah, Monique, Yvonne and by his brother Robert.
Fred was born on February 15, 1938 and raised in Laurier, MB. He was employed with CNR for Signal Department for 35 years in Saskatoon, SK before retiring to Nanaimo, BC. Fred and Donalda enjoyed the RV lifestyle for 10yrs - traveling to California and the Rio Grande Valley in Texas.
Cremation and Service have taken place. The burial of cremated remains will take place in family plot in Thunder Bay, ON.
