Joseph "Tedd" Theodore Forget

Tedd passed away at Stanford Seniors Village in Parksville on December 11, 2022. He is survived by Joan, his devoted wife of 68 years, and by his children Karin (Bill), Daniel (Sandy), and David (Michele); as well as his grandsons Christopher, Joseph, Justin, Ethan, and five great grandchildren. Tedd was predeceased by his grandsons Cory and Keir.

Born in North Bay, Ontario on March 13, 1933; he lived there until he joined the RCAF at age seventeen. While posted in Gimli, Manitoba he met and married Joan. They enjoyed the military life for thirty-one years before retiring in Comox, BC. Never one to stay idle, Tedd soon embarked on a second career working over ten years at the Elk Falls Mill in Campbell River. After retiring Tedd and Joan spent many happy years fishing, camping, golfing and travelling.

Tedd’s love, kindness, storytelling and sense of humor are greatly missed but we take comfort in the long and wonderful life that he had with the love of his life, Joan.
