Peter Francis Geysen

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Peter Francis Geysen. Beloved son, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend. Born in Saskatchewan in 1952, and raised on a farm, Peter was a true farm boy at heart. He was an avid hunter, loved fishing, animals, and vintage tractors. He found his way to BC in the early 70's, after combining through the USA. He loved the water here, not to mention the seafood. Peter was a very skilled heavy equipment operator, which eventually led to his own businesses in the industry.

He passed peacefully on August 4th, 2023, at Royal Jubilee Hospital, surrounded by loved ones. Peter leaves behind his daughters, Tracy Curtis, Rebecca (Daniel) Clark, and Jamie (Michael) Medforth. His grandchildren, Kyle Curtis, Andrew Curtis, Shae-leigh Curtis, Jacob Clark, Jayden Clark, and Mathew Medforth. His siblings, Arlene (Neal) Benke, Joanne Geysen (Russ Jackson), and Michael (Aggie) Geysen. Peter is predeceased by his parents, Henry and Johanna Geysen, and his brother Mark Geysen. Peter also leaves behind many dear friends.
