Shawn "Cats" Hodgson (Catellier)

Shawn loved living on Vancouver Island. He enjoyed hockey, baseball, playing pool, camping, fishing, cooking, snowmobiling, and picking on his little sister (though he always had her back). However Shawn never had any children of his own, he was able to embrace his inner child and enjoyed playing, coaching, and inspiring his nephew, Chayton, and step daughter, Sayde, as well as many other family and friends children (a trait he inherited from his father).

A celebration in memory of Shawn Hodgson finally will be held, all family and friends are welcome. We have chosen to have his celebration to be on the year anniversary of his passing, as Covid and restrictions have made this time difficult time even harder to have any kind of celebration until recent.

Shawn was very good at pool, he played for the Castel Wood Pub team, he even went to Las Vegas to play with his team. So in true celebration, we will be holding his memorial service on July 19th, 2022, @7:00 PM at Castel Wood Pub, located at 14620 50 St NW, Edmonton,

Following a short ceremony, all are invited to stay and have some appetizers and refreshment, Castel Wood’s, has offered to play a play list of music for us, pool tables exclusively to our group and sharing stories and anecdotes are welcome.
