Dr. Alan Joseph Tabb

Dr. Alan Joseph Tabb, 75, of Ave Maria, FL, passed away peacefully on June 1, 2023 with his beloved family by his side. He was born in Brooklyn, New York on June 13, 1947 to Irving and Miriam Tabb (Feldman). Alan earned his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree from Brooklyn College and was a partner at Steuben Podiatry in Corning, NY for over 40 years. During this time, he volunteered at the LPGA Corning Classic and the Wineglass Marathon. Alan enjoyed cooking and gardening on his lanai. He also enjoyed cheering on his favorite teams, the NY Mets and the NY Rangers. He loved the cruise that he recently went on, as well as going to concerts.

Alan is survived by his wife of 54 years, Marian Tabb (Hoffman) of Ave Maria, FL; Son, Scott (Angela) Tabb of St. Johns, Florida; Daughter, Jennifer (Matthew) Taft of Parker, Colorado; Brother, Bill (Liz) of Eagle, Idaho. Alan is also survived by his granddaughters, Madeline Taft and Elise Tabb, and his grandsons, Jack and Grayson Tabb. He is also survived by his little shih-tzu, Bailey, whom he always enjoyed sharing his food with. Alan is predeceased by his daughter, Lori Tabb of Ithaca, NY and his parents, Irving and Miriam Tabb (Feldman) of Brooklyn, NY.

Alan was laid to rest at Hodges Memorial Gardens in Naples, FL on Sunday, June 4th. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum in Alan Tabb’s name.
