Alfred J. Luposello, 79, of Naples, Florida passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 5, 2023. He leaves behind his wife of 59 years, Sandra “Sandy” (Cavalieri), his daughter, Lisa McKeon (Alfred) and Mark Luposello (Cris Ternisky), and five grandchildren, Alexa, Alfred “AJ” and Matthew McKeon, and Isabel and Mark Reid Luposello.
Al was raised in Croton-on-Hudson, Westchester County, NY, where he started his career doing collision repair at Luposello’s Garage, and developed a life-long enthusiasm for driving and restoring of classic and sports cars. Al’s later business featured restoration of vintage and classic automobiles.
Al and Sandy moved to Bedford, NY, around 2001, where Al continued collecting cars and where he could pursue another one of his big interests, horses.
Al and Sandy found their vacation home in Pelican Marsh in Naples, also in 2001, and later made it their permanent home.
Al’s passions in life were his wife, his children and grandchildren, and of course, food. He cooked and ate with gusto, especially the cuisine of his heritage, Italian.
