

Bill Templeton Naples, FL
Bill Templeton passed away peacefully in his sleep after a long illness on Sunday morning, February 13, 2011. He was 84. Bill was born in Frankfort, IN on October 12, 1926. He attended Frankfort High School and after he graduated, served in WW II in the Philippines and Japan.
After his return from duty, he married his high school sweetheart, Peggy (Maddux) Templeton, and worked for the Frankfort Fire Department for 20 years, serving as the assistant fire chief when he retired.
They moved to Naples in 1970. In Naples he worked as the manager of the Naples Memorial Gardens until he retired in 1991. He and his wife enjoyed many things together, including vacationing at Madeira Beach with family and friends, spending time at their cabin in the North Georgia Mountains, music, dancing, watching sports events, and playing bridge. Bill was also active in the Naples Barbershop Chorus and loved animals which included horseback riding.
He is survived by his wife of almost 64 years, Peggy; their two children, Mike Templeton, and Judie (Templeton) Robinson, all living in Naples. He left behind three grandchildren, Heather Robinson, Mark Templeton, and Jennifer (Templeton) Rich; and three great-grandchildren, Claudia, Ava, and Chloe.
There will be a musical celebration of his life on Monday, February 21st at 11:00 a.m. at the Hodges Funeral Chapel at Naples Memorial Gardens.
