Dennis Duane Edson, a proud South Dakotan, Michigander, and devoted family man, passed away suddenly on October 27, 2024, at the age of 82. Born on August 22, 1942, in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, Dennis lived a life full of adventure and love.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 56 years, Denise Edson, and their two children, Derek Edson and Jeremy Edson (wife Shauna). Dennis was also a cherished grandfather to Nathan and Hayden Edson, who brought him immense joy.
Dennis enjoyed a fulfilling career at RCA/Thomson Consumer Electronics, where he worked for 30 years. A proud U.S. Army veteran, he served his country with honor. After relocating to Naples, Florida, in 1997, he embraced life in the sun.
In his free time, Dennis was passionate about fishing, cruising the Caribbean, cheering for Michigan Wolverines football, playing bridge, golfing, cooking Chinese food, telling his favorite stories, and planning his next car and adventure. His zest for life and his love for his family will be deeply missed.
