Eunhee Lee Bates

Eunhee was born on January 27, 1938, in Seoul South Korea, to the late Chang Woo Lee and Hack Soo Lee. She graduated from Sacramento State University with a bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences. She married the love of her life, Mark Bates, on April 28, 1981. She was blessed with identical twin daughters and five grandchildren. Eunhee loved to read, travel, and was an active member of First Naples Church.

When she was younger, she enjoyed playing golf, tennis and bridge. As a dedicated grandmother, she was present when each of her grandchildren were born and was an active part in each of their lives.

Survivors include daughters Deborah Yoshino (Hiroshi) and Loretta Myers (Kevin), grandchildren Ken Yoshino, Bryan Yoshino, Christopher Myers, Joshua Myers, and Emily Yoshino, sister Mary Carnes and sister-in-law Helen Lee.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Mark Bates, parents Chang Woo Lee and Hack Soo Lee, brothers Sang Yong Lee and Sang Mock Lee and sister Soon Hee Lee.

A Memorial service will be held Monday, June 17, 2024, at 4:00 pm at First Naples Church, 3000 Orange Blossom Drive, Naples, FL, 34109.
