

Irwin (Irv) was born on August 30, 1935 in Denver, Colorado to Harry and Pauline Fishman.
Irv graduated from East High School in Denver and attended the University of Colorado in Boulder for two years. Irv worked in the meat and food business since age 17.
Irv moved to Iowa in the early 70's, and then New Jersey in the mid 70's, working for two different meat packing plants. In the mid 80's, Irv moved back to Colorado where he purchased Lombardi Brothers Meats. During this time, he served as the President of the the National Association of Meat Packers (NAMP). Irv retired in 1999, selling his business, and eventually moving to Naples, Florida.
Irv enjoyed playing golf and traveling to many different countries with his wife, Muriel. He and Muriel were members of the Quail West Country Club and had numerous friends in the Quail West community.
Irv is survived by his wife of 49 years, Muriel. He is also survived by his sister, Esther Gralnik (Rusty). His stepdaughter, Kathy Feinstein, predeceased him in 2018. Irv is survived by son, Jeffrey Fishman (Marjorie), stepdaughter Colleen Evans, and stepson Mike Harrity (Kelly). Irv is also survived by seven grandchildren, Sam Fishman, Bethany Walker, Hillary Romero, Holly Arai, Braden Harrity, Devin Harrity and Ross Harrity. He is also survived by three great-grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life was held at the Quail West Country Club on February 6, 2022 with numerous friends in attendance. Irv was very beloved and will be greatly missed by his family and friends
