

JamesThomas McCauley of Naples, Florida passed away peacefully on Monday, April 21st, 2025. He was born in Marysville,Ontario,Canada on October 18th,1938. He married Evelyn (Beardmore) on May 5th,1962. Jim graduated from Michigan Tech in 1966 and obtained an MBA from York University in 1973. Jim began his career with Kimberly-Clark Corporation in 1969 as a mechanical engineer in Rexdale, Ontario. Over the span of his 27-year career, Jim had responsibility for most of Kimberly-Clark’s non-consumer product businesses and managed many of the company’s international operations. After Jim’s retirement in 1997, he and Evelyn spent their summers at their log home in Frankford, Ontario on the Trent River and their winters in Naples, Florida where they enjoyed golfing with friends at the Pelican Marsh Golf Club.
Jim is survived by his wife of 62 years Evelyn(Beardmore) and sons Stephen McCauley, Paul(Esther) McCauley and daughter Karen Kissane. He will be greatly missed by his grandchildren, Kayla (Andrew) Hittig, Sara Kissane, James (Abril) McCauley, Luke McCauley, Joshua McCauley, Jack Kissane, Jonathan McCauley and his great-granddaughter Isabella Hittig. He is also survived by his brother-in-law Gerry (Mary Agnes) Masterson and sister-in-law Marjorie (Gerard) McCauley.
He is predeceased by his parents Jack and Ursula McCauley of Marysville, siblings Bill McCauley (Mary), Betty Hurley (Ben), Marjorie Clarke (Mel), Kay Hamilton (Bob), Dorothy Mulroney (Gene), Mary Agnes Masterson (Gerry) and Gerard (Marjorie). Jim will be fondly remembered by his many nieces and nephews.
Jim was a member of St. William Catholic Church of Naples, Florida and St. Peter Chanel Catholic Church of Roswell, Georgia. He was also a past member of St. Peter-in-Chains Catholic Church of Trenton, Ontario, Canada for 25 years.
The funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, June 16th at 1030am at St. Peter Chanel Catholic Church 11330 Woodstock Road in Roswell, Ga. All guests are invited to a reception in the church’s parish hall following Mass. Afterwards, all are invited to the interment at Greenlawn Cemetery 950 Mansell Road in Roswell.
For his Canadian relatives and friends, an additional funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, June 24th at 11am at Holy Name of Mary Church 7288 Old Hwy 2, Marysville, Ontario. All guests are invited to a reception following Mass.
