Jeffery Allen Brott

Jeffery “Jeff” Allen Brott, 66, of Naples, FL, left this temporary world on February 21, 2025, in Naples, Florida. He was born in Reed City, Michigan to Archie Brott and Jane Vannorsdall on March 28, 1958. Jeff married Patricia “Patti” Ann Cargill on June 16, 1984, in Hart, Michigan.

Jeff is preceded in death by his parents, Archie Brott, Jane Brott, LaRue Brott, and his beloved grandparents, Mary Winifred Brott and Glen Brott.

Jeff is survived by his wife, Patti Brott, his son, Stephen Brott, his daughter, Katie Mace, his son-in-law, Brandon Mace, his grandson, Miles Mace, his sister, Kim Brott-Kessinger (husband Kenny), his sister, Kay Millirons, his brother, Alvin Cooke (wife Irene), his brother-in-law, Dan Cargill (wife Jane), his brother-in-law, Rex Cargill (wife Cheri), and many nieces and nephews.

The lumber business ran in Jeff’s family for generations, and true to his family roots, Jeff worked in lumber sales for over 40 years. He moved frequently in his childhood, from Michigan to Florida. No matter what state he was in, Jeff always found his way to the water including Big Star Lake, Pier Marquette River, and the Florida Keys. Jeff attended Ferris State College in Big Rapids, Michigan, where he met the love of life, Patti. They welcomed two beautiful children together, Stephen and Katie. Their family grew even bigger when Katie married Brandon and they welcomed Jeff’s grandson, Miles. Jeff was a loyal family man to his core and went by many titles such as loving husband, incredible Dad, devoted grandfather, dedicated brother, goofy uncle and faithful friend.
