Joan Macero

Joan was born on December 7, 1940, to Marie and Gerald Baggs. She attended Florida Southern University and married Frank Macero on August 25, 1962, on Long Island, New York.

Joan was actively involved in The Junior League and enjoyed a full and active life. She loved playing tennis, particularly at Wee Burn Country Club in Darien, Connecticut, where she spent many happy years. Joan also treasured spending time in Vermont, enjoying its natural beauty, shopping and restaurants, and time with family. In later years, she cherished her time at Wiggins and Vanderbilt beach in Naples, Florida, where she found great joy in the beach lifestyle.

She was preceded in death by her mother, father, and her beloved husband, Frank.

Joan is survived by her sons, Kevin Macero and Craig Macero; her daughters-in-law, Kathryn Keen and Shanon Greenfield; and her cherished grandsons, Kyle Macero and Crew Macero.

A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 3, at Hodges Funeral Home at Naples Memorial Gardens.
