

John Edward Foley, 76, of Bonita Springs, FL, passed away on August 26, 2018. He was born in New Haven, CT on May 30, 1942. John Edward Foley graduated from Hamden High School, and had a diversified career, having various jobs before working at Midas Muffler where he was the general manager and worked for many years. It was at that time he married his love, Juliette M. Foley on October 1st 1976. John left Midas Muffler and continued his work career with Metropolitan Life Insurance and then onto Guymark Studios, a Visual Presentation Company. While working for Guymark Studios, he had the opportunity to meet Tony Randall which was a fond memory of John’s. Express Courier would be John’s last job before retiring. In 2012, John and Juliette would buy their home and move to Bonita Springs, FL where John could enjoy his passion for Golf. He loved the game, whether playing or spectating. He would look forward to going to the Greg Norman’s Shark Shoot-Out at Tiburon each December. He is survived by his wife, Juliette; children, Alicia Marie Carlino & Marcie Kay Addy; grandchildren, Isabelle Olivia Ingraham, Nathan Michael Addy, Zachary Bryan Addy, Alfonso John Carlino; and siblings, Patricia Kitchin & Gerald Wright. John was preceded in death by his father, John Francis Foley who died while serving our country in WW II, his mother, Edna Mae Rose, his step father, George Wright, and his brother, George Wright.
A Celebration of Life will take place on Friday, September 7th, 2018 at 11:00AM at Hodges Funeral Home at Naples Memorial Gardens.
