Joseph E. Fitzgerald, 78, of Bonita Springs passed away, Thursday, May 24, 2012. He was a member of St John the Evangelist Catholic Church, a member of the American Legion Post 0303, and a Korean Army Veteran. He is survived by three sons, James Fitzgerald, Rochester, NY, Gregory (Wendy) Emerson, Honeoye Falls, NY, Patrick (Dyan) Emerson, Austin, TX, three daughters, Debra (John) Erbland, Fairport, NY, Karen Fitzgerald, Hornell, NY Sharon (Mark) Westhoff, Searcy, AR, a brother, Vernon Fitzgerald, Daughter in law, Robyn Fitzgerald and many grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Joanne, a son, Michael Fitzgerald, and a daughter Karen Emerson.
A memorial service will be held Tuesday, May 29, 2012 at 1 PM at Hodges Funeral Home at Naples Memorial Gardens
