Linda L. Geiger

She was born in Peoria to James R. and Charlotte M. Miller on October 22, 1939. Linda graduated from Dunlap High School in 1957 and attended Western Illinois University. She was married to Carl Ray Geiger on May 19, 2062 in Peoria, IL. He died on February 1, 1983.

Linda worked in administration at Caterpillar Inc. for 37 years. She retired in 2001 and moved to her happy place at Bay Forest in Naples, Florida. In retirement, she enjoyed looking for seashells on the beach, riding her bicycle, playing bocce ball, and working crossword and jigsaw puzzles.

She is survived by her only child and best friend, Jana Geiger. She is also survived by her sister Patty Smith (William) of Edwards, IL, her brother James Miller (Sonya) of Burr Ridge, IL, her brother-in-law Rudy Eichenberger of Magnolia, AR, her brother-in-law Robert Geiger (Erin) of The Villages, FL, and her sister-in-law Eileen Herring (Henry) of Mapleton, IL. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her sister Sharon Lee Eichenberger of Magnolia, AR and her brother-in-law Jackie Geiger.

A graveside service will take place on Monday, October 22, 2018 at Naples Memorial Gardens.
