Avis de décès de Louis H. Pullins
AUX SOINS DE

Hodges Funeral Home at Naples Memorial Gardens

Louis H. Pullins, 87 of Naples Florida passed peacefully away on October 29, 2021 at 12:21 am surrounded by his family that loved and cared for him.

Lou was born June 12, 1934 in Keokuk, Iowa to the late Cleo Pullins and Charlet Patterson. Lou was raised as a commercial fisherman's son on the Mississippi River. His love of the Culinary Arts began wen he was just thirteen years old, cooking in a local diner. Nothing gave him greater joy than creating meals for others and he continued spreading that love until he passed from this Earth.

He and his wife, Marcia, owned and operated the Family Inn in Mt. Sterling Illinois until they relocated to Naples, Florida. Lou was always the first to extend a hand to those in need and passed that virtue on to his daughter and grandchildren. One of his greatest loves was for all animals big and small.

Survivors include his wife of 45 years, Marcia (Kirgan) Pullins, his daughter Tammy (John) Altobelli of Naples, Fl, his son John (Pam) Pullins of Colorado and his daughter Debbie Breen of Colorado. He also leaves behind his sister Susan (Ron) Tex of Macomb, Ill, his brothers Mike (Sandy) Sowers of Gulf Shores, AL and Patrick Sowers of Macomb, IL. His grandchildren that survive him include Elizabeth Roberts, Justin DelVasto, Amanda Miller, Holly Shelton and Krista Ellington.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Cleo Pullins and Charlet Patterson, his brother Chuck Pullins and three of his children, Jim, Adele and Rick.

As per Lou's request, cremation services were provided by Hodges Funeral Home and a private ceremony will be conducted by the family that loved and cared for him and with whom he shared his home.
