Lyda R. Little

She was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Gordon R. Little, and her sons, Leger B. Little and Ross C. Little. Her sister Edyth Dixon, brothers George and Arthur Bruce, and her dear “Auntie” (Hilda) preceded her in death as well.

She is survived by her daughters: Linda G. Riddle (Randy) of Bonita Springs, Florida; Debra J. Little (Ken Gorski) of El Paso, Texas; and, Donna J. Little (Albert Arcand) of Woodbridge, Virginia; grandchildren: Lance K. Little and Scott B. Little of Miramar, Florida, and their mother, Lorna; Stacie G. Farinola (Michael) of Hampton Falls, New Hampshire; Leah D. Yeager of Allen, Texas; Rozlyn P. Gorski of Portland, Oregon; Erik R. Little of Montpelier, Vermont and his mother, Donna Lee; and, Bryce A. Gorski of Austin, Texas; great grandchildren: Nicholas G., Anastasia G., and Katherine R. Farinola of Hampton Falls, New Hampshire; brother Maurice Bruce (Joan) of Kingston, Ontario; sister Barbara Smith (George) of Moncton, New Brunswick; and sister Florence Mossey (Robert) of Stratford, Prince Edward Island; as well as care givers, Sandra Stead and Stacey Wallin (James), numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and extended family of Southern Pines.

She was a member of Community Congregational Church of Naples, Florida, and had a passion for her family, her church family, dancing, cooking, playing rummikub, and hugging.

Funeral services will be held at 11 AM, Saturday, July 5, 2014, at Community Congregational Church, 15300 Tamiami Trail North, Naples, Florida. Lyda loved her church and in lieu of flowers please donate to Community Congregational Church in her memory
