Mae Janelle Storter

On October 17, 2016 Mom went home to be with Dad forever and we all know she's happy. She will also get together with her sisters and brother whom she loved dearly. Mom was born in Bacon Level, Alabama on August 27, 1927. She grew up during the hard times of the Depression and that molded her into a person that believed family was first and foremost. She worked hard all her life to provide for her family. She will be missed by everyone she touched. We all loved her and always will.

The youngest of seven, she was proceeded in death by all of her siblings; Irene Cadehead, Ruby Riner, Lurlene Chesser, Leroy Echols, Frances Fitzek, and Anne Wynn.

Mom is survived by her four children, Alan (Suzanne), Billy, Patricia (Roy), and Susan (Jim). Ten grandchildren, Troy (Delilah), Matthew (Emmy), Melissa (Matt), Sarah, Shanna (Scott), Ben, Judith, Jay, Janelle, and Jackson. Nine great-grandchildren, Pearl, Garnett, Beryl, Jasper, Nicholas, Jacob, Elizabeth Rose, Annie and Jack. She also leaves many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Judy was a member of the Center Point Church in Naples. She retired as a bookkeeper for the Sunshine Ace Hardware Store in Naples, a family business.

Visitation will take place from 6:30p.m. until 9:30p.m. on Thursday, October 20th at Hodges Funeral Home at Naples Memorial Gardens, 525 111th Ave. N. The funeral service will take place at 10:30a.m. Friday, October 21 at the funeral home with the interment service to immediately follow.

A heartfelt appreciation to Billy and Patricia from Alan and Susan for their care and devotion to Mom. Thanks for everything Mom. We love you.
