

Marvin was born on June 30, 1920 in Chicago Heights, IL He owned a business in Downers Grove, IL before moving to Naples in the 70s.
He married Virginia in 1942 while he was serving in the US Army during World War II.
Virginia passed away in July 2017.
Marvin and Virginia loved to sail and visited many Caribbean Islands as well as South America. Marvin was also a pilot, earning his private pilot's license from Lewis College. He owned a plane, flying regularly while they lived in Downers Grove.
After Marvin and Virginia moved to Naples, a priority for them was to find a home close to the water that would accommodate their sailing boat. They were Royal Harbor residents from 1982.
Marvin and Virginia were dedicated philanthropists and volunteers, supporting many local charities. Marvin was active with Habit for Humanity being one of the early volunteers in Collier County.
Marvin was a man of deep faith who was dedicated to his wife and an active member of his church, First United Methodist Church of Naples.
Services will take place at First United Methodist Church, 388 1st Ave S, Naples, FL 34102, on Monday, April 2, at 10:30am.
