Maureen Kruse

Born on March 15, 1938, in Jersey City, New Jersey, Maureen lived a life defined by devotion, compassion, and quiet strength. She found her greatest joy in caring for her family, and her presence brought warmth to every room she entered. Known for her radiant smile, generous heart, and the comforting aroma of something always baking in her kitchen, Maureen welcomed everyone with open arms. Her home was a place of laughter, love, and endless memories.

Maureen leaves behind her devoted husband of 67 years, Francis (Frank) J. Kruse, with whom she built a life full of love and family. She was the beloved mother and guiding light of her four children: Cathy Moraco and her husband Tony, Moira Ireland and her husband Timothy, Frank Kruse Jr. and his wife Mary, and Steve Kruse and his wife Aimee. She took immense pride in her eleven grandchildren—Tony, Michael, Nick, Joe, Meghan, Terrence, Josh, Olivia, Jeremy, Ethan, and Camille—each of whom brought immeasurable joy to her life. She was also blessed to be the great-grandmother of baby Ozzie, who added a new spark of happiness to her later years.

Maureen’s legacy lives on in the love she poured into her family, the traditions she created, and the countless cherished moments they will hold close forever. Her presence will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
