

He was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on August 5, 1943. Michael graduated from Northeast High School and received a doctorate degree in mathematics from Drexel University.
He was married to Marilyn Sirota Borowsky on July 15, 1967.
Michael worked for the Department of Defense at the Naval Safety Center as Head of the Statistics and Mathematics Department for over 30 years. He also taught statistics and other mathematical courses at many prestigious universities.
Michael was athletic and enjoyed jogging, playing tennis, baseball and basketball. He also loved to watch all sports, but one of his favorite pastimes was to cheer for his favorite ice hockey team.
Michael could often be found at the beach, enjoying the surf, sand, and sunsets.
But, most of all, Michael loved his family and spending time with them.
He was predeceased by his parents, Martin and Betty Borowsky.
Michael was survived by his wife, Marilyn Sirota Borowsky, children Matt Borowsky (wife, Hazel) and Michele Borowsky Warner (husband, Doug), his grandchildren Rachel Lily Borowsky and Cole Martin Warner, and his sister, Sharon Borowsky Kaytes (husband, Harold).
A Memorial Service will be held at Hodges Funeral Home at Naples Memorial Gardens in Naples, Florida on Sunday, June 29th at 2pm.
