

William proudly served his country in the Army during the Korean War. While living in Ohio he worked construction and was happiest when he was building something.
He was a graduate of Florida Atlantic University with a Bachelor of Business Administration. He had an adventurous spirit and had traveled and visited all 50 states and spent 2 years traveling to many foreign countries. William and Carol spent 15 years traveling in their motorhome. He was a quiet man but could be the life of the party. He considered his children his greatest achievement.
Survived by his wife of 33 years, Carol Hilberg; children, Lohrey Henderson (Jim) of Dallas, TX, Holly Materka of Wylie, TX, David Hilberg of Naples, FL, Bill Miller of Charlotte, North Carolina; step-children, Peter Todd Havran (Cristina) of Naples, and Holly Logalbo (Sal) of Springhill, TN; 12 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will take place Friday, October 1, 2021 from 11:00-11:30 at Hodges Funeral Home at Naples Memorial Gardens, 525 111th Ave N, Naples, FL 34108 with the funeral service at 11:30 AM. Burial will follow in Naples Memorial Gardens.
