

Dick was born in Tiffin, Ohio to Paul and Katherine Crum on February 20, 1935. He graduated from Eden Local High School in 1953. He married Audrey Crum on July 23, 1961 in Maywood, New Jersey. He graduated from the General Electric trade school. He worked as an Engineer for General Electric / Trane for 45 years. During this time, Dick was awarded various patents that were put into use. He coached Little League baseball and at one time won 3 championships. He loved boating with his family and fishing in Barnegat Bay, NJ. His passion became cruising on Royal Carribean with his wife Audrey. His favorite hobby was enjoying his Lionel model trains.
Dick is preceded in death by his parents Paul and Katherine Crum; his brother James Crum; and his sister Alice Harding.
Dick is survived by his wife Audrey; their three sons, Richard Crum and wife Terri of Naples, FL, James Crum and wife Amy of Raleigh, NC, and Steven Crum and wife Pamela of Mechanicsburg, PA; his sister Betty Quickle of Fostoria, Ohio; 4 grandchildren: Richard Crum and wife Ivon, Eric Crum, Jesse Crum, and Zachary Crum; and many loving nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held at Hodges Funeral Home of Naples Memorial Gardens on Thursday, January 16, 2025. Visitation will begin at 11:00 a.m., Service at 12:00 p.m. and Burial at 1:00 p.m.
The family of Dick wishes to extend our sincere thanks to the team of doctors and 3 Angel nurses in the emergency room and those who assisted in the ICU at North Collier Hospital.
