Formerly of Lorain Ohio and Green Ohio, Naples has been her home since1999.
Shirley was the Valedictorian of her class, Lorain high school class of 1954B.
Shirley will be remembered as a loving Wife, Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother.
Her greatest accomplishment was her family but beside that she was a Scout Den Mother, a secretary to her husband in his insurance business and an avid supporter in the children/grandchildren's athletic and musical endeavors.
She is survived by her loving husband of 60 years Robert Docs.
Children Robert Jr. (Patricia) Docs, Kathleen (Brian) Wellock, James C. (Kara) Docs, and Jon Docs. Six grand children Austin, Robert III, Andrew, Kyle, Ethan and Ben. Three great grandchildren, Ava, Addison, and Aidan. She also leaved her church family, neighbors, and dear friends.
Mass of Christian burial was held at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, entombment followed at Naples Memorial Gardens.
