Steven L. Krieg

Steven L Krieg, 57, of Cape Coral and Naples, passed away peacefully at home in his sleep on Saturday, February 5. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, son and friend and wanted to live life at bike speed.

Steve was born on July 24, 1953, in Fort Wayne, Indiana, to Mark and Roberta Krieg. He moved to Southwest Florida in the late 1970s and worked at Pine Island Realty with his parents and two brothers. In the early 1980s, Steve opened a commercial real estate firm in Cape Coral, S.L. Krieg Realty.

Steve lived life to the fullest, was devoted to his family and friends, and enjoyed cycling, traveling, walking and making everyone laugh.

Steve joins his mother, Roberta, and his brother, Richard, in heaven. Left to cherish his memory are his beloved wife, Reagan Roberts, his son Josh (Lizan), daughter Erin, grandchildren Mia and Jack, Steve’s father, Mark, and brother Mark (Sharon), sister-in-law, Debbie Krieg, and Lisa Krieg, mother of Josh and Erin.

A memorial service to celebrate Steve’s life will be held at Assembly of God Church 4701 Summerlin Road in Fort Myers, Fl, 33919 on Thursday, February 7, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. Memorial Contributions may be made in Steven’s memory to Teen Challenge SW Florida, 5646 7th Ave., Ft. Myers, Florida
