

Tom worked for AK Steel Company for 33 years, retiring in 2004. After several years of being retired, Tom worked for Pelican Bay Foundation in Naples, FL. Tom was a good athlete and in the past 10 years developed a love for playing the guitar and listening to music. He was a member of the Monroe First Church of God for 15 years.
Tom was preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence and Joyce and a brother, Jerry Dean Moreland.
Survived by his loving wife of 32 years, Jenny Moreland; daughter Mindy Metz (Adam); son Brett Moreland; and step children, Robert James, Sara Markovich (David) and Brett James (Brittany); 10 grandchildren, Austin, Marley, Halle, Drew, Maddy, Miles, Connor, Mia, Ryder and Cam; his sister, Renee Gay (Larry); brother, Larry Moreland (Kristin); nieces and nephew, Amber, Sarah, Russell, and Molly.
The family will hold a private celebration of life in Naples on Friday, September 2, 2022.
A Church Memorial Service will be held in October in Tom's home town in Ohio.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Monroe First Church of God, 100 Easton Manor Dr, Monroe, OH 45050.
A Celebration of life will be held on October 8th at Monroe First Church of God. Visitation from 2-3 and Memorial Service at 3.
