

Adrienne Marie Chauvet Kelly Sivori died on January 23, 2021 in Covington LA at age 99. Deena Sivori, born December 28, 1921 in Bay St. Louis, MS, was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years John E. Kelly, Jr., her second husband of 18 years Louis “Crip” Sivori, and her stepdaughter-in-law Linda Sivori. She is survived by a large family and step-family: five children: Judith Kelly Lobb (Don); John E. Kelly III (Lidia); Ruth Kelly Priest (Elmo); Barbara Sivori Norman (Craig); Tommy Sivori (Tammy).
Deena is survived by 12 grandchildren: Michael Alexis; Douglas Alexis (Peggy); Justus Lobb (Heidi); Dane Lobb (Marianne); Shawn Kelly; Dana Kelly Parker; Mauricio Grau (Carla); Michelle Kelly Phillips (Aaron); Kelly Priest Goza (Joshua); Jennifer Priest Strickland (Stephen); Rochelle Norman Redmond (Jeff); and Stacey Sivori.
She is also survived by 29 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
The family would like to give special thanks to Passages Hospice, Avanti Senior Living, Windsor Senior Living and her devoted caretakers for their devotion to our mother.
Deena had many talents and hobbies – at a young age, she could sing, dance and style hair. Later in life, she played tennis, danced the cha-cha, played bridge and became an office supervisor for Sears. Her talents included cooking, sewing, crocheting, gardening, jewelry making and painting. When Deena retired from Sears, she devoted much of her time to painting, even serving as President of the Metairie Art Guild. She traveled the world quite a bit, especially cruises. She attended St. Edwards Hill Toppers luncheons and Telephone Pioneers socials. She loved being with family and playing cards and games.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, February 20, 2021 at Mary Queen of Peace Catholic Church in Mandeville, LA. Visitation will be held at 12:30 pm and the memorial service will begin at 1:00 pm. A private burial was held at All Saints Mausoleum. Memorial donations may be made to St. Jude’s.
