

She was preceded in death by her parents, Candida Ulloa and Amado Escobar, and brothers, Miguel Escobar and Jose Escobar.
She is survived by beloved husband, Hector P Pinto Sr., sons, Hector Pinto Jr. and Jose Pinto and daughter, Janette Pinto, grandchildren, Drew and Monica Goloforo and Christina, Christopher, and Jacob Pinto, and great-grandchildren, Olsen and Maverick Goloforo, Craig Watler III, Kennedy Checo-Reyes, and Nina, Jayden, Kymani, Mylani, Aiko, and Juelz Pinto. She is also survived by her sisters, Esperanza, Gertrude, and Gloria Escobar, brothers, Julio Sr., Amado, Luis, and Carlos Escobar, niece, Amanda Escobar, and nephews, Julio Escobar Jr. and Miguel Angel Escobar.
Alicia graduated from Honduras, C A and worked at Schwegmann’s for 5 years. She loved being with her family and friends. She will be remembered for her kindness and being the most loving and caring mother, wife, grandmother, and good friend.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 25, 2025 at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd. New Orleans, LA. Visitation will be held from 12 -2 PM with a Mass to begin at 2 PM. Interment will follow at All Saints Mausoleum.
The Pinto family would like to thank Amanda Escobar, Suyapa Bordelon, Victoria Gonzales, Roslyn Maldonado, Geraldine Sosa, Lisa Hidalgo, Pat Mulina, Julie Phu, and Stacy Jenkins for all their emotional support and food donations during this difficult time. We also, want to give special thanks to Rev. Luis Duarte and Deacon Luis A. Campuzano from St. Jerome Church for performing the Mass for our mother, as well as the pallbearers, Jose Pinto, Hector Pinto, Julio Escobar, Drew Goloforo, Troy Bercegeay, Miguel Angel, Marco Sosa, and Carlos Torres. Thank you all to the family and friends who attended the service for being part of this special day with us.
