Allen Joseph Baudry

Allen Joseph Baudry loving and generous husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather passed away peacefully at home on May 11, 2015, at the age of 90. He was born and raised in Mt. Airy, (Garyville) LA, but lived in the New Orleans area for over 50 years. After attending Loyola, he worked as an accountant for Chevron Oil Company (formally California Oil Company) for over 30 years. He was a US army veteran. He lived and was active in multiple Catholic parishes, where he and his wife raised their children. After retiring, he enjoyed traveling, playing golf, and bowling. Allen is survived by his loving and dedicated wife of 63 years Julie Elliott Baudry, 7 children John (Kim), Julie Anne Borne, Thomas (Janet), Kenneth (Tara), Roger (Ann), Mary Blanco (Louie), Richard (Leslie), 22 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. Allen was preceded in death by his father Roger Felecian Baudry from Mt. Airy, LA., mother Alice Marie Bourgeois Baudry from Vacherie, La., brother Roger F. Jr., sister Alice Mae, and brother Francis Hale (Chic). In lieu of flowers, please send donations to Catholic Charities. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at LAKE LAWN METAIRIE FUNERAL HOME, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd. in New Orleans, on Wednesday, May 13, 2015 at 1:00PM.
