Ana Rosa Ramos de Mendieta passed away peacefully in her sleep at the age of 90, on Sunday, February 7, 2021 at her home surrounded by her loved ones. Ana was born on December 11, 1930 in Yoro, Honduras, daughter of the late David Ramos Calderon and Angela Araya de Ramos. She was a resident of Kenner, Louisiana. She is preceded in death by her parents, two of her sons Juan Manuel Mendieta, Jose Horacio Mendieta and two brothers Julio Cesar and Angel Ramos.
Ana was a wonderful, kind, loving, generous, compassionate and devoted mother to Maria (Linda) Fajardo (Juan-deceased) Carlos Alberto Mendieta (Martha Luz) Ana R. Mendieta and David A. Mendieta (Elvia). She leaves behind her 4 children, siblings David Ramos, Norma Ramos Saybe, Virma Ramos, Blanca Thibodeaux, Maria Ramos Wetzel, 13 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.
Ana will be terribly missed, but we will cherish the memories she left us with.
