Anne E. George

Anne E. George passed away on Wednesday, July 11, 2018 at the age of 85. She was born in New Orleans to the late Fredrick and Anna Ello. Anne was also preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Henry R. George, Jr. and a brother, Fredrick W. Ello, Jr. Mother of Henry R. George, III (Letitia), Stephen M. George (Dianne), Thomas K. George (Gigi) and Joanne G. Cook (John); a sister, Elizabeth Riordan (Robert); 4 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; a sister-in-law, Beverly George and many nieces and nephews.

Anne was a parishioner of St. Angela Merici Catholic Church. She will be fondly remembered for her sense of fashion and décor as well as her artistic talents.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Mass in the chapel of Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd. New Orleans, on Saturday, July 14, 2018 at 12 pm. Public visitation is from 10 am until service time followed by interment in All Saints Mausoleum.
