
Our dearly loved mother passed away on March 3, 2015. Born on August 4, 1922 in Washington, DC she moved immediately after her birth to New Orleans where she lived her entire life. She was predeceased by her mother, Anne Anderson Lammond and her father, Wistar Morris Lammond and her brother, Charles Morris Lammond, all of Washington, DC. She was also predeceased by her brother, Robert Ellis Lammond of Mandeville, Louisiana
She was the beloved wife of Edwin Peters Lastrapes, and is survived by their three children, Anne Brooke de Montluzin, Edwin Peters Lastrapes and Jeanne Meyer. She is also survived by six grandchildren, Robert de Montluzin, Clay de Montluzin, Brooke de Montluzin, Jacques de Montluzin, Malcolm Meyer, and Anne Arrington and six great grandchildren.
Anne was a graduate of Ursuline Academy, attended Tulane University, and was a parishioner of St. Catherine of Sienna. She was a former member of the Metairie Garden Club and the Orleans Club. She is remembered for her Catholic faith, her independent spirit, her love of travel, and her voracious appetite for reading. She will be greatly missed by her family.
A private funeral and internment is planned.
