August Paul Grimaldi

August Paul Grimaldi died on Wednesday, October 19, 2022. He was born to the late Eugene A. Grimaldi, Sr and Josephine "Joey" Senac Grimaldi on March 12, 1943. He graduated from St. Aloysius High School and Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge. He is proceeded in death by his beloved partner of 38 years Gretna Burnaman and his sister Marie Grimaldi LaGraize.

August is survived by his daughter Christine Rotolo (Conrad Stevenson), his brother Eugene A Grimaldi, Jr. (Mayra), and his sisters Beverly Seamon and Janice Grimaldi. He was especially close to his cousins Elizabeth Senac and Patrice Senac and many other cousins, nieces and nephews.

He presided over the family business Grimaldi Construction and other businesses. He was a lifelong hunting, fishing and boating enthusiast who enjoyed numerous adventures with his brother, sisters, nieces, nephews and dear friends. He was a member of the Jefferson Hunting Club and "Hunt Master" to his nieces and nephews. He was a member and rode with the Krewe of Bacchus for many years.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral service on Friday, October 28, 2022 at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd. New Orleans, LA 70124. Visitation will begin at 10:00AM followed by Mass at 1:30 PM. Interment will be at St. Louis Cemetery No. 3.
