Bertha was preceded in death by her husband, Marcel Anthony Blanchard, Jr.; her three brothers, Cleve Wiltberger, John C. Wiltberger, Sr., and Daniel Wiltberger; her niece, Kelly Wiltberger Pritchett; and her parents, Borders L. and Viola Oestarly Wiltberger.
She is survived by her step-son, Marcel V. Blanchard; her two nephews, John C. Wiltberger, Jr. and Andrew Wiltberger (Cassie); her four nieces, Rachel Wiltberger Blanchard (Craig), Charlene Wiltberger Saravia (Byron), Sarah Wiltberger Durham (Mike), and Danielle Wiltberger Hunt; her three cousins, Leanne Vidrine, Toni Jo Thomas (Paul), and Wendy Thomas (Thomas); her sister-in-law, Phyllis Wiltberger; and her dear fur-baby, Stormy. She is also survived by numerous great nieces and nephews.
Bertha was born in New Orleans on March 15, 1956, and was a graduate of Grace King High School. She worked and retired from Home Depot.
A private burial at St. Mary’s Cemetery in New Orleans will take place at a later date.
