Bertha was preceded in death by her husband, Rogelio Serrano; her daughter, Leslie Serrano; and her parents, Santiago and Maria Cruz Ceballos.
She is survived by her three sons, Norman Serrano, Roger Serrano (Leisa), and Javier Serrano (Yan); her granddaughter, Alicia Serrano Bilich; her grandsons, Santiago and Sebastian Serrano; her brother, Ramon Ceballos; her sister, Esmeralda Ortiz; and many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd. in New Orleans, on Thursday, November 3, 2022 from 6:00PM until 9:00PM. The visitation will continue at the funeral home on Friday, November 4, beginning at 12:00PM. A funeral service will be held in the chapel of Lake Lawn Metairie at 2:00PM, with the interment following in Metairie Cemetery.
