Betty Anne Lipper Moss

Betty Anne Lipper Moss at her New Orleans, LA residence on Monday, October 22, 2007. Wife of the late Hartwig Moss II. Beloved mother of Anne Moss Zenowich of Sagle, Idaho and husband Louis D. Zenowich and Hartwig Moss III and wife Nancy R. Moss of New Orleans. Daughter of the late Betty Silverman and Lawrence Lipper. Sister of the late Emily Lou Levine Bing. Also survived by four grandchildren, Marcie Moss Gelfand, Hartwig Moss IV, Stefanie R. Moss and Jason L. Zenowich and four great grandchildren, Sophie Ella Gelfand, Andrew Hart Gelfand, Hartson V. Moss and John Maddox Moss, nieces, nephews and cousins. Mrs. Moss was a native of Houston, Texas and a New Orleans resident over 60 years. She attended Newcomb College, and received her undergraduate degree at Tulane University. She also held a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Architecture from Tulane University. She was a conservationist and an active voice in preservationist circles. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, October 25, 2007 at 11:30 AM from Temple Sinai, 6227 St. Charles Avenue with Rabbi Edward Paul Cohn officiating. Interment will be private. Friends may visit at the temple on Thursday from 10:30 AM until service time. Kindly omit flowers.
