She is also preceded in death by her siblings Adelaide Burger, Louise Allain, Dorothy Bryant, Charles Cook, Jr., Wilbur Cook, and Eugene Cook. Beverly is survived by her nieces Daralee Musso, Andrea Janseen, Barbara Sivard, Darleen Cook, Genie Dupuy, and Peggy Mahoney; nephews Charles Cook, III and Harold Bryant, Jr., as well as her special friend Ellen Moss.
Beverly began working at the K & B Camera Center upon graduating from Francis T. Nicholls High School in 1946. This was her first and only job. She retired from K & B in 1993 after forty-seven years. Her boss at the Camera Center for her entire career was her mentor and friend, Ray Cresson. Her years at the Camera Center introduced her not only to many wonderful people in the city but to many celebrities and dignitaries who called her their friend. Her warmth and wonderful sense of humor was felt by all.
A celebration of her life will be held at a later date.
