Beverly was born August 23, 1940, in Bucktown, LA, the daughter of the late Ilece Saltalamacchia and Julius Saltzman. She was preceded in death by her husband, Melvin Siemssen, and her two daughters, Beverly Alexander, and Ilece Landry.
She is survived by her son, Roger Alexander, three grandchildren, Beverly Gaudin, Brooke Gaudin, and James Alexander, and her only great grandchild, Kameron Gaudin.
Beverly had many passions including cross-country road trips with her grandchildren, collecting gemstones, making jewelry, and tending to her cactus and succulent garden. She devoted most of her life to helping families cope after suffering the loss of loved ones through her organization, Victims and Citizens Against Crime, in which she served as president.
Funeral services will be held Friday, February 17 from 10:30AM to 11:30AM and burial will follow at Lake Lawn Park, 5454 Pontchartrain Blvd., New Orleans.
