Brenda Lucas entered into the arms of our Lord on Thursday, October 30, 2014 at the tender age of 48. Daughter of Shirley Ann White Lucas and the late Alfred Loncelet Lucas, Jr. Fiancé of Charles Earl Bonaventure. Devoted mother of three children Clifford Daniel Lucas, Eric Michael Vague Lucas and Kayla Marie Richardson. Sister of Lorraine Maggard (Slim), Darlene L. Calcagno (Alan), Alan Dale Lucas, Steven Lucas, Jeanette Brown (Samuel), Helen Fontenot (Samuel) and Pamela Lucas. She is also survived by her fiancé’s son, Travis Bonaventure, numerous relatives and friends. We watched you suffer, we saw you die. All we could do is sit by and cry. You went away, we had to part.
