

She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry B. Taillac and Margaret Ethel (White) Taillac, her step-mother Virgie Geiger Taillac, son Jeffrey R. Lipps, sisters-in-law Elaine Lipps LeRoy and Kathy Lipps Ferrara, brother in law Reverend Monsignor Frank J. Lipps Jr., and former spouse John (Jack) R. Lipps, Sr.
Carol is survived by her son John R. Lipps, Jr. and her loving sister Lois Taillac Spurgeon (John Mark), former daughter in law Terri L. Lipps, grandchildren Ryan Henri Lipps (Angela Corpuz), and Emma L. Lipps, and many loving nieces and nephews: Cheryl Cousin Richard (Mickey), Christopher Cousin, Mark Henry Cousin (Jacqui), Suzette LeRoy Gorden (Ken), Earl "Chip" LeRoy III (Charlene), Keefe LeRoy (Sandy), and Richard LeRoy (Jill), Chuck Ferrara (Colette), Joey Ferrara (Missy), and Katie Barletta (Nic), and more loving relatives and dear friends.
Some of Carol’s favorite things to do were listening to music on the radio, collecting vinyl records for her stereo, making Mardi Gras costumes for her children when they were young, sending letters and cards for all occasions, reading lots of books, and most of all, spending time with her friends and family.
Throughout her life, Carol demonstrated remarkable courage, resilience, and an unwavering faith. She faced her challenges with strength and grace, remaining positive and trusting in God even through illness. Her faith was a steady source of comfort and strength to her and to those who loved her.
Carol was cared for by hospice services' angels and saints who nursed her body and soul every day. We are so grateful for all who treated her with so much compassion, love, and dignity. Special thank you to

Carol will be dearly missed and forever remembered by her family and friends.
