Carolyn K. Hugger

Carolyn is survived by her children: Bodin A. Hugger Jr., Frances A. Liberto, Mary K. Hugger, John M. Hugger (Nicol), and Edward G. Hugger (Carla); grandchildren Abigail Schiro, Eric Liberto, Michael Liberto, Kathryn Dansereau, Justin Hugger, Grant Hugger, Samuel Hugger; great-grandchildren Noah Liberto, Oliver Liberto, Dominic Liberto, Ava Liberto, August Jarnigan, Archer Jarnigan, and Grant Hugger, Jr.

Carolyn’s professional life began as a teacher at St. Ann’s Catholic School in Houston, Texas. However, she found her true calling as a homemaker and a supportive wife to her husband, Bodin A. Hugger Sr., with whom she shared 66 years of marriage. Her love for Bodin and her family was unwavering, and she dedicated her life to nurturing and caring for them all.

In addition to her family, Carolyn was an active member of the WANOLIES women’s organization, where she formed lasting friendships and contributed to the community.

All who knew her will remember her spirit, warmth, and generosity. A private family service will celebrate Carolyn's life and legacy. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice in Carolyn's memory. Carolyn's love, kindness, and commitment to family will remain in our hearts forever.
