Catherine Uhle Maitre

Catherine was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 67 years, Charles X. Maitre III, her parents, Vincent and Viola Uhle, her son, Ronald V. Maitre (Donna), and her brother, Roy Uhle. She is survived by her children, Kay M. Haro (Greg), Charles R. Maitre, Donald G. Maitre (Joy), David R. Maitre (Patricia), and Catherine “Catee” M. Lotz. Also survived by 12 grandchildren, Greg Haro Jr., Kristen Haro, Christopher Maitre, Jeffery Maitre, Jessica King, Anne Harrell, Jenna Buckman, Brandon Maitre, Kyle Maitre, Miranda McGowan, Lacy Dazet, Tyler Lotz, and 12 great grandchildren.

Catherine enjoyed a long career with the Civil Sheriff's Office of New Orleans until her retirement. She enjoyed frequent trips to the casinos and traveling, her most recent adventure being a cruise in November 2021. She also looked forward to and enjoyed her Wednesday afternoon card games with her dear friends.

Family and Friends are invited to attend a visitation at 10:00 AM with a mass following at 12 noon on Wednesday, February 2, 2022 at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Boulevard New Orleans, LA 70124.
