Chad Cazabon passed away on May 11, 2026, at the age of 44. Born on January 8, 1982, Chad lived a life defined by devotion — to his family, to his country, and to his work. He served honorably in the Louisiana Air National Guard as a Senior Master Sergeant, 159th Fighter Wing, a chapter of his life he carried with pride. He loved his job and brought that same commitment to everything he did.
Above all, Chad was a devoted husband and father. He adored his wife, Gina, and his two sons, Joseph and Curtis, were the light of his life. The love he had for his boys was unmistakable to anyone who knew him, and it is the legacy he leaves them.
Chad had a gift for coaching. Whether it was his own boys or their friends on the field, he showed up- patient, encouraging, and always in their corner. He made every kid he coached feel like they matter, and the lessons he taught went well beyond the game.
Chad is survived by his wife, Gina Cazabon; his sons, Joseph and Curtis Cazabon; his parents, Tim and Pam Cazabon; his brother, Timmy Cazabon; and a wide circle of family and friends who will miss him deeply.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, May 18, 2026, at St. Rita Catholic Church in Harahan, Louisiana. Family visitation will be held from 9:30am to 10:00am, with public visitation from 10:00am to 12:00pm, followed by a funeral Mass at 12:00pm.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to a fund established for Chad’s sons, Joseph and Curtis. https://spot.fund/FutureForJoandCu
