Charles Cleveland Clark, III passed away on March 9, 2026, at the age of 82. He was the loving husband of Patricia, father of Courtney Fleming (Paul) and Andrea Stone (Michael), grandfather of Madeline, Caroline and Joseph Fleming and Rachel and Joshua Stone, and brother of John Clark and Deborah McLain.
Charley was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Carol Clark; brother, Ross Clark; and grandson, Paul Charles Fleming, III.
Charley enjoyed a long and full life— a life that he considered fortunate, and he remained strong and positive during the good times and the bad times. He enjoyed work, travel, sports, music, reading, cooking and gardening. Most of all, he had a deep love for his family and friends.
He was dearly loved and will be missed and remembered by all who knew him.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a memorial mass in the chapel of Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd, New Orleans, on Thursday, March 19, 2026 at 11:00 am. Public visitation will be held from 10:00 am until the time of the service. The interment will follow at a later date.
