Charles J. Leggio Sr.

Charles Joseph Leggio, Sr. passed from this life to the next on July 20, 2016 following a difficult battle with pancreatic cancer; he was at his home and surrounded by his loving family. Charles was born on April 14, 1948 to the late Nicholas Anthony Leggio and Mary Caccioppi Leggio. Charles was the former Owner of Dr. Bug Exterminating Company est. 1979. He was a former resident of Metairie, LA and currently resided in Hammond, LA. He was a very proud Brother of Hamster’s USA from 2002-2016; member of Custom Cruisers; and member of Old Metairie Gang. He is survived by his beloved wife Deborah Villemarette Leggio; children Charles “Chuck” Leggio, Jr. and Toni Leggio Agner, and his beloved son in law, Ike Agner and grandchildren Caiden Charles Agner and Sophia Elise Agner; as well as his group of friends who met regularly at Perks Coffee & Café; and numerous other family and friends. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend a funeral service on Friday, July 29, 2016 at 12:00 p.m. at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd, New Orleans, LA 70124. Interment will take place at Lake Lawn Park Mausoleum. Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. until service time.
