Charlotte Mary Voltz

Charlotte Mary Voltz passed away on May 22, 2025 at the age of 79 at her residence in Metairie, Louisiana. She died peacefully with her sister, Gerie Voltz Bourne and her brother-in-law, Jim Bourne, by her side. A native of New Orleans, Charlotte was born on February 14th,1946 to loving parents Mary and Floyd Voltz.

She is survived by her sister, Gerie and several loving cousins. She is preceded in death by her parents.

Charlotte graduated from high school and worked at a local casino for many years. She was an avid New Orleans Saints fan and seldom missed a home game. She was also a volunteer at East Jefferson General Hospital for 4 years. Charlotte had many caring friends both at work and in her immediate neighborhood. She will be missed by all who were blessed to know her.

A special thank you to Fr. Raymond of St. Christophor the Martyr Church in Metairie for visiting Charlotte in her home and administering the last rites. The family would also like to thank St. Joseph Hospice for their care, concern, and prayers.
